Return to the heart of who you are
A pilgrimage through the Sacred Valley of Peru
August 1st - August 8th, 2026
Hrdaya is not a retreat It is a pilgrimage you return to. Mountains that have watched centuries pass. Sacred waters that hold what you release. Ceremony as old as the stone beneath your feet.

LAND. CEREMONY. RETURN.

The land
Hrdaya begins with the land - the rolling hills, the sacred mountains called Apus, the rivers that have carried prayer for centuries. The Sacred Valley is not the setting of this retreat. It is its first facilitator. We do not visit it. We listen to it.
The Ceremony
Across seven days, we walk into ceremony with practitioners from many traditions - Andean despacho, sound healing, inner child work, polarity integration, angelic guidance, ecstatic dance. Each one a doorway. Each one held with care. None of them the whole answer. The whole answer is what happens between them, in the space the group creates.

The Return
Hrdaya is not something you arrive at. It is something you return to - again and again, long after the retreat ends. The mountains stay with you. The work continues. What you remembered here, you carry home in your body. This is the gift of pilgrimage: it does not end where it stops.
Held by Many Hands
A gathering of practitioners. Different traditions. One devotion.

ERIKA BONDY
Erika is the heart of Hrdaya. Born from her devotion to humanity and to the living wisdom of the Earth, this retreat is the embodiment of her life's work, gathering souls in shared fields of remembrance.

JORGE BOURONCLE
Jorge holds the sound. A handpan artist and sound practitioner from Peru, he weaves shamanic frequencies through ceremony, creating sonic landscapes that move the body deeper than words can reach.

MARLIS FERREYROS
Marlis works in the space between opposites; masculine and feminine, light and shadow, holding and releasing. Her sessions invite participants to integrate the polarities they have spent a lifetime trying to choose between.

Ethan Ettleman
Ethan brings the threshold work, intuition; guiding participants into the tender places where the inner child waits to be unified. His practice draws from psychosynthesis, ancient wisdom and lived experience.

MARÍA SCOZZARI
María has been an Angel Therapy Practitioner since 2010. She uses oracle cards as a channel for spiritual guidance, offering each participant either an open message or insight into a specific aspect of their life.

ALEJANDRA CARRERO
Alejandra guides Soul Static; a somatic dance journey that blends music, meditation, and conscious movement. Her work invites the body to release what the mind cannot articulate.
One Price. everything held.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Questions worth asking.
Some questions arrive before commitment. Here are the ones we are asked most often, answered with the same care we bring to every part of this journey.
What should I bring
We will send you a complete preparation guide once you reserve, but here is what to begin gathering: comfortable layered clothing for warm days and cool mountain evenings, a waterproof jacket, sturdy walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen for the high-altitude sun, and a reusable water bottle. For our two nights at the Sanctuary of La Verónica, you will pack a small backpack with essentials only (your main luggage stays safely with us at Hotel Villa Urubamba in the valley). We also recommend bringing a personal journal, your yoga mat if you have one, and any small ceremonial items you would like to bring into the sacred work. Most importantly, bring an open heart and a willingness to slow down. The Andes will provide the rest.
What about the altitude, should I be concerned?
The Sacred Valley sits at 9,000 feet, lower than Cusco itself, and the itinerary has been carefully designed to allow gradual acclimatization. Most people adjust within the first day or two with rest, hydration, and the local Andean herbal teas (muña and coca) we will offer throughout. If you have specific health concerns, we recommend consulting your doctor before traveling. We will share a full preparation guide once you reserve.
Is this retreat right for me if I am coming alone?
Most participants arrive on their own. The retreat is structured to create a field of connection from the very first evening, and the small group size ensures no one is overlooked. By the second day, the group becomes a kind of family. Coming alone is often the most powerful way to receive what this journey offers.
What are the accommodations like?
We stay in three locations across the eight days. We begin our first night at Hotel Inti Punku in Yanahuara, a peaceful resting place where the body begins to adjust to the altitude. For two nights, we move to the Sanctuary of La Verónica at the foot of the mountain (a rustic retreat center immersed in nature, where rooms are simple, shared cabins). The remaining four nights are held at Hotel Villa Urubamba in the Sacred Valley, a beautiful home base with gardens, comfortable rooms, and views of the surrounding peaks. Most rooms are shared throughout the retreat. Private room upgrades at Villa Urubamba are available for an additional cost, subject to availability.
What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
All meals are prepared with native Andean ingredients, and vegetarian options are always available. We can accommodate most dietary needs with advance notice.
What is the cancellation policy?
A $400 deposit secures your place. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the retreat begins. If you need to cancel more than 60 days before the start date, your deposit is fully refundable. Within 60 days, the deposit becomes non-refundable but transferable to a future retreat or to another participant. We understand that life unfolds in unexpected ways and we will work with you in good faith.
I feel called but I am unsure if this is the right time. How do I know?
This is perhaps the most honest question, and the one we cannot fully answer for you. What we can say is this: the pull you are feeling is itself information. The right time is rarely the convenient time. If you would like to talk through what is arising for you before reserving, we are happy to have that conversation. Sometimes a single honest exchange brings the clarity you need.
How do I get to the Sacred Valley?
Fly into Cusco International Airport (CUZ). From there, we provide private van transportation directly to the retreat (about a ninety-minute drive through the historic city and into the valley). Most international travelers route through Lima first. We recommend arriving on August 1 and planning your departure flight from Cusco for the afternoon of August 8 to allow time for the closing meal and journey home.
