HRDAYA • हृदय

Return to the heart of who you are

A pilgrimage through the Sacred Valley of Peru

August 1st - August 8th, 2026

SCROLL TO BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY
THE Invitation

Hrdaya is not a retreat It is a pilgrimage you return to. Mountains that have watched centuries pass. Sacred waters that hold what you release. Ceremony as old as the stone beneath your feet.

Your journey

EiGht days. one arc.

Descent. Deepening. Return

Day 01 • Group Arrival

Our pilgrimage begins on Pachamama Day, one of the most sacred days in the Andean calendar, when offerings are made to Mother Earth across the mountains of Peru. The drive from Cusco winds down through ancient terraces as the altitude settles into the body. Arrival at Hotel Inti Punku, followed by a welcome dinner; a quiet opening of the journey.
Day 02 • Apu veronica

We travel to the sanctuary at the foot of Apu Verónica, one of the most revered mountains in the Andes. The Ceremony of the Umbilical Cord of Light opens the energetic field of the retreat, followed by a Despacho ceremony to Pachamama led by a Q'eros shaman.
Day 03 • The chacana

The morning brings a ceremonial reading of the Chakana, the sacred Andean cross that maps the connection between worlds. Shamanic sound healing carries us deeper into the body, and a forest walk to nearby waterfalls follows. The day closes around a fire circle beneath the mountain stars.
Day 04 • The opposites

We return to the valley and settle into Hotel Villa Urubamba for the rest of the retreat. In the afternoon, we travel to Casa Suyana for a three-hour experience in polarity integration; the work of holding both, of letting opposing forces meet without forcing resolution. What emerges is not balance, but wholeness.
Day 05 • Sacred waters

The day begins with a Cacao ceremony at the edge of Lake Piuray, sacred waters held by Pachamama. Inner Child Unification follows, a tender return to the parts of the self that were left behind. Lunch is a Pachamanca, cooked in the earth itself. In the evening, an optional Illa Oracle ceremony awakens intuition through ancestral symbols of light.
Day 06 • ancestral memories

We travel to three of the most powerful ceremonial sites near Cusco: Qenqo, Sacsayhuamán, and the Temple of the Moon (a sanctuary carved into living rock where Mama Killa was honored). Each place receives an offering and a moment of reverence. The evening closes with a circle of angelic guidance and oracle messages.
Day 07 • Ñaupa iglesia

We journey to Ñaupa Iglesia, an ancient stone portal carved into the cliffs of the Sacred Valley (long considered a doorway between worlds). Time is given for silent contemplation and personal offerings. As the sun sets, we gather for an Ecstatic Dance integration ceremony (somatic movement, breath, and music that helps the body release).
Day 08 • the return

A farewell breakfast in the valley before we drive back to Cusco. There is time to walk the historic center together and share a final meal as the journey closes. Flights to Lima depart in the afternoon, but the work begun here travels with you (back into your daily life, where the real integration begins).
The Sacred Valley

LAND. CEREMONY. RETURN.

The land

Hrdaya begins with the land - the rolling hills, the sacred mountains called Apus, the rivers that have carried prayer for centuries. The Sacred Valley is not the setting of this retreat. It is its first facilitator. We do not visit it. We listen to it.

The Ceremony

Across seven days, we walk into ceremony with practitioners from many traditions - Andean despacho, sound healing, inner child work, polarity integration, angelic guidance, ecstatic dance. Each one a doorway. Each one held with care. None of them the whole answer. The whole answer is what happens between them, in the space the group creates.

The Return

Hrdaya is not something you arrive at. It is something you return to - again and again, long after the retreat ends. The mountains stay with you. The work continues. What you remembered here, you carry home in your body. This is the gift of pilgrimage: it does not end where it stops.

If you feel the call
it is already within you.

A quiet knowing.
A remembrance that
cannot be explained,
only felt.

This journey is not something
you find. It is something
you return to.

"The retreat to Cusco with Luna in 2023 was a transformative experience that resonated deeply within my being. It was an opportunity to reconnect with my essence and with the roots of my Andean culture. Luna's warmth, honesty, and devotion was felt in every interaction, allowing the magic to flow freely throughout the retreat and among all of us. Thank you, Luna, for such a beautiful journey."

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Questions worth asking.

Some questions arrive before commitment. Here are the ones we are asked most often, answered with the same care we bring to every part of this journey.

What should I bring

We will send you a complete preparation guide once you reserve, but here is what to begin gathering: comfortable layered clothing for warm days and cool mountain evenings, a waterproof jacket, sturdy walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen for the high-altitude sun, and a reusable water bottle. For our two nights at the Sanctuary of La Verónica, you will pack a small backpack with essentials only (your main luggage stays safely with us at Hotel Villa Urubamba in the valley). We also recommend bringing a personal journal, your yoga mat if you have one, and any small ceremonial items you would like to bring into the sacred work. Most importantly, bring an open heart and a willingness to slow down. The Andes will provide the rest.

What about the altitude, should I be concerned?

The Sacred Valley sits at 9,000 feet, lower than Cusco itself, and the itinerary has been carefully designed to allow gradual acclimatization. Most people adjust within the first day or two with rest, hydration, and the local Andean herbal teas (muña and coca) we will offer throughout. If you have specific health concerns, we recommend consulting your doctor before traveling. We will share a full preparation guide once you reserve.

Is this retreat right for me if I am coming alone?

Most participants arrive on their own. The retreat is structured to create a field of connection from the very first evening, and the small group size ensures no one is overlooked. By the second day, the group becomes a kind of family. Coming alone is often the most powerful way to receive what this journey offers.

What are the accommodations like?

We stay in three locations across the eight days. We begin our first night at Hotel Inti Punku in Yanahuara, a peaceful resting place where the body begins to adjust to the altitude. For two nights, we move to the Sanctuary of La Verónica at the foot of the mountain (a rustic retreat center immersed in nature, where rooms are simple, shared cabins). The remaining four nights are held at Hotel Villa Urubamba in the Sacred Valley, a beautiful home base with gardens, comfortable rooms, and views of the surrounding peaks. Most rooms are shared throughout the retreat. Private room upgrades at Villa Urubamba are available for an additional cost, subject to availability.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

All meals are prepared with native Andean ingredients, and vegetarian options are always available. We can accommodate most dietary needs with advance notice.

What is the cancellation policy?

A $400 deposit secures your place. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the retreat begins. If you need to cancel more than 60 days before the start date, your deposit is fully refundable. Within 60 days, the deposit becomes non-refundable but transferable to a future retreat or to another participant. We understand that life unfolds in unexpected ways and we will work with you in good faith.

I feel called but I am unsure if this is the right time. How do I know?

This is perhaps the most honest question, and the one we cannot fully answer for you. What we can say is this: the pull you are feeling is itself information. The right time is rarely the convenient time. If you would like to talk through what is arising for you before reserving, we are happy to have that conversation. Sometimes a single honest exchange brings the clarity you need.

How do I get to the Sacred Valley?

Fly into Cusco International Airport (CUZ). From there, we provide private van transportation directly to the retreat (about a ninety-minute drive through the historic city and into the valley). Most international travelers route through Lima first. We recommend arriving on August 1 and planning your departure flight from Cusco for the afternoon of August 8 to allow time for the closing meal and journey home.

Still have a question that lives outside this list?We would love to hear from you.
